There is Chana Masala and there is Chana Masala and then there is our Chana Masala. Our chick peas get simmer for a long time in a tomato and spice gravy to get their unique melt in the mouth texture.
Fantastic with Lemon Rice, plain rice, breads or even on its own. When I need an extra protein fix, I even add smoky spiced chorizo to my bowl of chana masala.
