A typical fisherman’s dish from Goa. We roast freshly grated coconut, a few red chillies and finely chopped onion and then grind these down with a special blend of spices. The resultant gravy has a unique texture and a slight kick right at the very end.
Goes well with our lemon rice or some hot fluffy naan bread. If you want it hotter, slice some green chillies and add to the dish when it is hot and mix well.
