Our biriyanis are cooked with a lot of fuss. Fragrant Basmati rice and fresh vegetables/ meat are are layered in and then cooked under dum or pressure allowing the flavours to mingle and mix. Some mint leaves and a hint of rose water is added to enhance the flavour resulting in a wonderful aromatice one dish meal.
All you need with a biriyani is some yoghurt raita. Blend natural yoghurt with some roasted cumin powder and salt and you are set for a perfect one dish meal.
